Flux

Flux is the name of my last animation made in my second year final project in Middlesex. This is an abstract movie in which it is show different stages of cycle within metamorphosis.
Every little thing in this planet suffer metamorphosis in which most of them does not feel comfortable with, However, these changes are essential for the survival and evolution of any species.
I would like to mention, that the universe is in constantly change and movement; you can see it on planet earth, it has been suffer many transformations since the beginning of its existence; from a big ball of ice to fire and so on, all of this transformation shape the life of the planet as we know it today. Furthermore, any living thing in the planet suffer this transformations and need to adapt to them in order to survived..
In conclusion, I believe that metamorphosis happening every moment in life; when the sun bring light to the day and the moon bring dark to the night. It is the magic moment when the past have gone and the future is coming whit uncertain challenges.

Cityplasm

This is a stop motion group project for Middlesex University, with Carolina Coquim, Dina Insanova and me.
This project was very enjoyable, we worked with raw materials in order to created different sets, puppets and toys to used them into the animation. The city set is all made on cardboard which give the Animation a 3D look.
I would like to mention that all of us made the director, camera and animator role, having a good understanding of each other ideas. I am the actor and I did most of the video editing and music editing.

Geometron:My last minute project for Middlesex 2012

Synopsis
Some geometric shapes like metatron's start and metatron's cube, moving within space creating a different shapes and colors, producing different universe and transforming into mandalas. This is all describing in a few word: Univers, Mathematics, Geometry, Nature, and Color.

Story treatment:
In the universe all the symmetry shapes are made with a mathematics equation, this equation can be seen in different animals and plants shapes, like the sea shell or the planets and the starts.
In this movie I created a new universe of shapes with the transformation of different geometric forms, as well as modification of color within an organic shapes, all became part of the same self in the sense of shaping and  colors. I would like to mention the importance of the nature and symbolism like the representation of mandalas. Mandalas, concentric diagrams, have spiritual and ritual significance in both Buddhism an Hinduism. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas may be used for focusing attention of aspirants and adepts, as a spiritual teaching tool, for founding a sacred space, and as assist to meditation and trance induction, Each mandala is unique and calls the divinity into the presence of the practitioner through the elaborate symbolic geometric designs. Mandalas are not representation, but are lived, experience, non dual realities. However mandalas represent the nature of experience and the complexity of both enlightened and confused mind.
